3x3 Swirly Card

This would be a great birthday card.  I love the bright colors in this fun swap.

Tomorrow will be the last post from my 3x3 card swap...sniff!  I do have more swaps to share on Monday but they are regular card sizes.  When I went to Stamp Fest in Iowa I came home with a bag full of cards!  I probably have at least 60 so that is about two months of posting!  Wow!

Club Project Faux Tearing

Good morning!  I borrowed this idea from Dawn O  because I loved the fall theme.  I crumpled the leaves (a different die than she used but from the Holiday catalog) and substituted the great new wood like buttons from the big catalog.  Love the look!  This will be our technique for the month.

If you check back to previous posts you will see the other card that we will be creating in club.  I think that I will use this card for one of my make and takes next week at Stamp Fest.  I am so excited!  Friday night we will do make and takes and exchange swaps; Saturday we will each provide two projects to share and so I will end up with lots of fun goodies to show to everyone!  Hooray!

PS Sitting here looking at the card...it needs color spritzing!  Perfect on the Vanilla side?  I definitely plan to stamp closer to half the card instead of a third of the card.  Am I my own worst critic? LOL!

3x3 Just for you card

Love the sentiment on this card!  LOL!  This would be great to go with chocolate! 

Sorry that this is posted so much later than usual.  My son has been sick this week and yesterday was full of doctor visits and blood drawing.  Sigh!  Poor guy...his fever was over 102 and he had headaches, sore throat, and sniffles.  Today he is doing better.  He was able to do a full day of school work today but is now upstairs resting in bed with the laptop and his favorite Star Wars movie.  (-:

#4 Stamp Camp Wrinkle Free Distress Ornament Card

Good morning!  This card will have a fun fold inside but you will have to come to stamp camp to see!  (-:  The ornament on the front is done with the Wrinkle Free Distressing technique but it is difficult to see in the picture.  I also used the flocked vellum in the background...gorgeous stuff!

I will be working on club projects next but I do plan to work on and post my stamp camp demo once my club projects are done.  I also have Stamp Fest projects to work on so I will be a busy beaver.  (Stamp Fest is an event for demos only that is held in Iowa near my folks town.)

September 11th and Triple Treat 3x3 card

This is a striking card...sure miss that Triple Treat stamp now that it is retired...

Simple but elegant...

Stamp Camp Project #3 Waterfall Card

Once again the program is too smart for me.  LOL!  Sorry that the picture is on its side and that it took me so long to post the third project.  I have worked off and on for several days on this card and was not happy with it until I added the great new scalloped tulle.  LOVE IT!  It really added pop to the card.  I toyed with putting rhinestones on top of the gold brads but ended up taking them off.

This is a waterfall card so when you pull the ribbon on the bottom (left side of the photo) the scallop circle on top flips to reveal the next scallop circle.  Each circle is smaller than the last and one of the scallops is the new one out of the Holiday catalog.

Also, the ornaments are colored with the Ink Refill Drop technique.  The picture makes it difficult to see the neat shimmer of colors.

#2 Stamp Camp project Penny Spinner Card

Good morning!  This is a fun project and will have a few "extras" incorporated into once I place my next order.  This card will have to tide you over until I can post the updated version later.  LOL!  The ornament spins back and forth along the card and is so much fun!  My kids sat at the table yesterday afternoon and just watched it spin for at least five minutes.  Too funny!

I discovered an easier way to do the pleated medallion than the way I taught in club.  Phew!  I did it the hard way at club!

The embossing folder is the new one from the catalog.

October 6th Stamp Camp Project #1

Good morning!  This is the first project in the lineup for Stamp Camp on October 6th.  This is a Circular Side Step Card done with the Holiday Ornament Keepsakes Bundle.

If you are interested in attending please let me know ASAP.  I must have a paid registration by September 22nd to guarantee one of the 12 spots. The cost is $25 and will include directions, four projects, $15 in Holiday catalog merchandise (catalog price but not counting tax or shipping), and a mini demonstration of something from the Holiday catalog.  Each person will get to pick out $15 in merchandise from the list of supplies I will be using.  If you would like to choose the Holiday Bundle I can apply the $15 towards the cost and still just charge catalog price.  It will be a great deal!

Stamp Camp will be at McAlisters Deli on October 6th in the back room from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm.  There will be free shipping on all orders placed that day as a thank you for your participation.  There will be a door prize on all orders placed that day; one lucky person will win a hostess set from the big catalog!

All projects will be done using the Holiday Ornament Keepsake Bundle and many of the new goodies from the Holiday catalog.  You won't want to miss out!  If you cannot attend but would like to purchase a kit with the catalog merchandise please let me know.

This is a clever yet simple card...  This looks like something Stampin' Up! had us do at convention one year. 

Happy Rain Day!  I was so tickled to see the rain when I woke up this morning.  It is thundering and rumbling outside now.  We are supposed to have rain today and tomorrow.  Hooray!  Maybe Hurricane Isaac broke the weather pattern we were having?  I hope that things green up and that the farmers end up with an extra cutting of hay.
