The Essence of Love card

I absolutely love how this card ended up!   A friend gave me some stamped images and I sat down to marathon stamp the other day.  If you like the stamp set also you will be tickled to see it appear in the new Occasions catalog coming out in just a few days.

Christmas Tree card

This will be be one of my last posts from Julie's Christmas card pics.  I really love that embossing folder!

I have been cleaning out my stamp room and found a bunch of cards that need refurbished or finished so I am working on cleaning up a big pile of cards.  I even took time on Monday morning to organize my card drawer so that there are dividers designating card groups.  Yes, I look very organized but don't let that fool you!  LOL!  My family will appreciate my organization because they are often daunted in a card search by the chaos of that said drawer.  Now they will be able to select the perfect card and my poor cards won't get used and abused in the drawer!  Hooray!

Holly Jolly Christmas card

Yes, it is quite past Christmas but I am catching up on all of my posts.  Right now I am sitting in the Toyota Dealership waiting for my car's brake pads, brake fluid, and engine oil to be changed so I thought I would take a minute or two to post.

Holly Card

Silent Night card

Julie sent some pics of her recent cards so I thought that I would take a few days to share them with you.  She always does such lovely work!!  This stamp set is the Silent Night set from last year and it was my favorite set from that catalog.

Blendabilities Open Heart Card

This marks the end to my stamping marathon for the week.  Today I finished up projects from the last two months of clubs and then worked on this card for club.  Phew!  This card will make a fabulous thank you card for the Christmas gifts that might come your way.  It is simple but the coloring shows you cared enough to spend a few minutes on it.

Last night was a crazy night. One of my kiddos was up off and on all night with bad dreams and then puking. After I make sure that all of my club friends know that club is cancelled for the day I am heading back to bed. Someone still has an upset tummy too. Poor kiddo!

Endless Wishes Luminary Birthday Card

Hello from my stamping marathon!  This is a fun card that is fairly simple and can also double for a Christmas decoration if you opt for a Christmas theme.  Who doesn't love luminaries?  I had to use a flash light because the battery operated candles are on my shopping list.

Update:  I found some great battery operated votive candles at JoAnn's today!  Hooray!  They were half price and then I put my teacher's discount on top of the sale.

Military cards

Today, in spite of my best plans, there was no stamping.  Today was one of those terrible, awful, no-good home school days when you just grit your teeth and get through it.  LOL!  I must have done ok because the child giving me the fits is very loving tonight.  Phew!  I am definitely going to take "me time" tomorrow or maybe even tonight for some stamping so that I am not crabby tomorrow.  (-:  Tonight I plan to plot my cards so that tomorrow I can wax create.

My Heart pal (another demonstrator) sent this surprise package last weekend and it was definitely unexpected!  Now to have time to send my cousin, Jesse, a card before he deploys!  Hopefully he won't mind the army card because I haven't seen too many navy stamps. 

Here is our latest in the basement wall saga...cracks all over the wall, which explains the leaking water.  God knew before we tore out the wall.  God knew before the insurance company told us that it wasn't covered.  (-:  This morning I woke to the sound of one of the guys using the shop vac on the basement floor.  Sweet, sweet music!  LOL!

Christmas Tree card and Weekly Deals

Hello!  It has been a crazy, busy week.  Our basement leak turned into a job that required my hubby and son to tear out one complete wall of the basement to repair the crack in the foundation wall.  Phew!  To our dismay we realized that we have three large cracks in the wall and may have to do repair to the foundation.  Yuck!  Needless to say, stamping was the last thing on my list.

Christmas Cheer

Hello and happy Friday!  I am so excited that the weekend is here, even though it is raining and we are back to using the shop vac to suck up the water in the basement.  Such is life! 

Earlier this week I went to my upline's house and she had four fun projects for us to create.  The bag I posted a few days ago was one of them .  I believe that I have already posted the top card because we  created that same project at a downline meeting but it is fast and pops.  The Christmas Cheer card is great and uses the Filigree embossing folder from the Holiday catalog.

Today I get to order the new Occasions catalog!!!  Hoot!  I am super excited to see what is inside of that little jewel.  There was a big reveal event but I just couldn't get away to attend.

Bright and Beautiful gift bag

My lovely upline, Stephanie, had a club meeting last night and graciously allowed her downline to attend if so inclined. Of course I said yes!  LOL!  Her projects are clean and simple but always pop.  It is difficult to see but the stars are embossed with Versamark and iridescent ice embossing powder so they really sparkle.  The rhinestone bling in the center of the star really helps as well.

I caught myself trying to line up the stars in an orderly fashion instead of staggering them so yesterday I must have been having control issues.  LOL!
