Hello and happy Friday morning!  I am home alone this morning and it feels rather odd.  I woke up, had devotions and then came down to stamp in my jammies.  FUN!  I didn't have to fuss for the television (Xbox) and so it has the news playing in the background for noise.  Yes, ironic, isn't it?  LOL!

I had fun with this project and it is kind of messy chic.  (-:  Gotta love that Gorgeous Grunge set!!

Saturday Video- Watercoloring using stamps and the Stampin' Spritzer

I love, love, love to watercolor and this is a fabulous technique.  The spritzer is retired but it is one of my favorite tools to use.  I did not sell it when it retired (either time) and I hope that it comes back again!

I love this stamp set!  One thing that I learned at Stamp Camp (for demos) is that this set is far easier to use in photopolymer than in the clear mount variety.  It is a fabulous two step set and the ability to see through the stamps makes lining things up much simpler than guessing it or using the Stamp-a-ma-jig.  It was also fun to add the line of watercolor-ish dots along the top and bottom.

I have been stamping almost every day this week and LOVING it!  I am getting caught up on my projects and hope to start stamping my club projects next week.  I can't decide which retiring set to use...choices!  I know that I want to use the Chalk inks again because they are just so fabulous.

Today Mr. Brown dropped off two boxes from Riverton, Utah and it just now dawned on me that they are probably important!!  Yikes!  I might have new catalogs pining away for my company!!!

I just LOVE this stamp set with this color!  The purpley-blue color of Wisteria Wonder is one of my favorites but I need to remember to use it.  LOL!

Saturday Video Rock n' Roll Stamping Technique

One more day until Mother's Day and the clock is ticking!  Yesterday was yard work and today I start cooking and cleaning.  Is something wrong with this picture?  LOL!  Sunday morning we have a Mother/daughter Tea for Sunday School (you are welcome) and then we are hosting the family for a Mother's Day BBQ.  My hubby is going to grill and the daughters are all making side dishes.  It will be fun to get together with everyone!

Balloon Bash Birthday card and yard update

Hello everyone!  It is hard too tell but this week we planted the rose bushes back.  I also planted white and pink vincas around the bush closest to the porch on the right side.  When the men were excavating I did manage to save two Wal-mart bags of bulbs from the flower bed that was removed so today I sloshed through the muddy clay to plant those bulbs.  I am crossing my fingers and toes that I won't lose my rose bushes and bulbs.  LOL!  Next week, on another rainy day, I will dig in the clay to put my brick edgers back along the flower beds.  The next and final step will be to replace the mulch...on a dry day!  My flip flops had inches of muddy clay after finishing up today!  Just for good measure I included my thumb in the picture.  (-:
