Weekend Video Window Box Thinlits dies

Hey Chick Sale-a-bration card

I decided to play with the Sale-a-bration stamp sets this morning and this one was fun.  I stamped the Hardwood background in Crumb Cake but will do it in a darker color like Chocolate Chip next time.  I just love this chick set!!!  Free is also a great way to get a stamp (when you spend $50).

Club Project Mini Z fold card

I am sorry that I missed a few days of posting.  Our family passed around a dreadful cold and I am just now getting over it.  Blah!  This is a fun mini card and super easy to make; it would be the perfect size to add to a gift or flowers.  I did pull out the 12x12 CS because there is no waste that way.

Here is my inspiration.

Carried Away Z fold Card

There are lots of cool videos and tutorials out there on Z fold cards but this one is my favorite because it is so easy.  I just folded the card in half (like usual) and then folded the front back again.

Tip:  I used dimensionals behind the left side (no, I totally did not just check my hands to see which was left...groan!) of the sentiment.  I wanted a bit of lift because I had wrapped the string so I opted for the dimensionals.  Also, be careful to NOT adhere both sides of the back of the sentiment or your card will be glued shut.  I have never done that either.  LOL!

Inside the Lines Sale-a-bration Card

This was a fun card and super fast.  I am going to take it apart later and mess more with it later this afternoon.  For now I need to get out the door to clean Grandma's house.  (-:  I will post an update on this page later today or tomorrow.  Crazy week and I just realized that I need to allow for prep time on the stamp camp next week!  Yikes!

I am planning a Z fold card for tomorrow.  I am excited to play with it.

Fool Proof Watercoloring Dragonfly Dreams card

This was a fun watercolor technique using reinkers and baby wipes.  Fun!  Here is the video technique.

Retro Week Garden Silhouettes Card #2

Hopefully no one blew away last night because we had a humdinger of a storm!  I think I heard the kids up and the dog whining so our household is running tired today.  LOL!

I really did try to pick up another stamp set but this one is such a great set that I will probably be "stuck" on it all week long.  LOL!  I hated when the Dictionary background stamp was discontinued so it was fun to pair with the Garden Silhouettes stamps.  I even slipped the Vintage wallpaper embossing folder (butterflies) into the mix.
