My Retro week/ Watercolor Garden and Sincere Salutations
This week we are taking Grandma to her Friendship club and I know that they have a card list for every month. I thought it would be fun to donate a stack of cards to aid in their community outreach. Each day I plan to pull out a retired set or two and make a stack of eight cards to donate. Today was my "Get Well" day and this card is a fairly simple two step stamping card.
Stamps:
Sincere Salutations

Remake of a fancy fold card from last month
Last month I made this card at club and had leftover projects when I got home. This week I had the Avante Garden set out and decided to remake the old card with the new stamp set. Fun!!!
I am going to go back and edit my post from yesterday; I plan to post instructions for the Shaker card I posted. (-:

Club Project #2 Sending Love card
Hello Ladies! This was a fun project and I modified the card I saw on splitcoaststampers here
For my next card I think that I will trim down the fun foam just a wee bit because you can see a peek of the foam color underneath the frame. Also, if you can find the fun foam that is peel and stick it will save you a step.
Update on 1/27/17: I am posting instructions and a link to the video tutorial that I watched. When I get a few minutes I will try to update the instructions with photos for my visual friends.
Happy stamping!

Instructions:
- Use washi tape (or painters tape) to "join" two layering squares together in the Big Shot. With both squares "joined" cut out the card front being careful to center for a nice opening.
- While your squares are still "joined" cut out the fun foam and Blushing Bride frames. Some of my ladies used the Card front frame instead of the Blushing Bride frame...looked even better!
- Attach sticky strip to the foam frame and then trim a bit off of the foam/tape frame. The foam seems to stretch when it is cut out and this will keep edges from peeking out and make sure that your sticky strip is not too wide. Be sure to cover all of the frame with adhesive or it will "leak".
- Adhere the card front to the card and stamp a sentiment in the "hole". For my card demo I had attached a bit of DSP in the hole but it kept my goodies from shaking nicely; I would recommend not layering in the "hole".
- Adhere your fun foam frame inside of the "hole" over your sentiment.
- Put your shaker goodies inside of the "hole".
- Remove the interior square from the joined squares and cut out a window sheet the size of the largest square. You might need to trim a wee bit off of the edges.
- Use lots of sticky strip on the foam frame to seal the goodies and then adhere the window sheet.
- Adhere the Blushing Bride or DSP frame on top to hide the foam frame.
- Embellish and stamp your card.

Club Project #1 Avante Garden
My next project will be done with the Sending Love stamp set, as promised but I couldn't resist doing a card with this stamp set. The best part about this stamp set is that it is FREE when you purchase $50 of merchandise!!! I have a Pinterest board for this stamp set and just LOVE it! See if you can guess which card was my inspiration card.
I had my heart set on using Washi tape so I pulled out my current set and used the colors in the Playful Palette set. I love the stripes.
Happy stamping!

Floral card
This card is from my card swap. I haven't been stamping much as of late because the plantar fascitis flared up and it hurts to go upstairs. I sound like an old lady with aches and pains now! I am in physical therapy now so hopefully that will help soon. Next week I will be playing with my Valentine's stamps, regardless of sore arches. LOL!
