Flirty Flamingo Thank You card

Stamps:  Pop of Paradise and Timeless Texture
Colors:  Flirty Flamingo, Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, and Whisper White
Supplies:  Big Shot, Stitched Shapes framelits, Rhinestones, Scissors, Stamparatus, Whisper White ink pad

I tweaked this card a tiny bit and made it my own.  You can probably tell that I experimented with the shadowing on the leaves; I really like doing shadowing with the Wasabi marker and not the Garden Green I had originally planned to use.  The Garden Green was just too dark.

Daisy Delight Card #2

As I sat in Big O tires I realized that I left the house before posting this morning.  Yikes!  So sorry that this is late.  I think that I need to figure out how to schedule posts so I won't have to worry about remembering.  LOL!

This was a super fast card.  I picked a framelit and then cut out the Soft Sky CS just a bit bigger so that I could use both parts on the card front.  Does the pearl and ribbon formation look like a face to you?  Maybe I am just too tired.  LOL!  Anyway, I also doubled up on daisies because I like the layered look best.

Daisy Delight Bundle Thank you card

I love love love this card!  I found a similar card and then adjusted it to fit the colors of my Designer Series paper and my taste.  Just in case you are interested in the bundle please note that the daisy punch was so popular that Stampin Up sold a year's worth in just a few months.  They have two emergency orders on their way but, for now, the punch and bundle are unavailable.  I believe that at the end of July SU will have the new punches in stock.

Busy morning!  My daughter and I stained/sealed the back porch posts after I treated my flowers with Neem oil to get rid of the pesky Japanese beetles that seem to infest everything and eat my roses down to stalks.  I think that I have a winner because the neighbor (yard of the month) told me what she does to treat her flowers. 

Stamp camp was a blast and this morning I put away my "toys".  Now I am prepping posts for this week.  Hooray!

Here is a Possum pic from when he was helping my daughter empty trash cans this weekend.  LOL!

Woodland Embossing folder birthday card

Hello!  I had phone problems this week so I am late posting this picture.  First my phone died and then I had to get adjusted to a new phone, in more than one way.  I went from an LG phone to an iphone and there is still an adjustment period as I learn how to tweak everything.  So far I like it but I hate the learning curve.  LOL!

I really love this folder and I am sad that it is no longer available.  I don't think that SU realized how popular it was going to be because they are already out of the folders.  I stamped on the folder itself (negative image side) and then embossed the vanilla card front.  Next I used sponge daubers to color on the embossed trees and then I added green for the leaves and grass.  I also used the Soft Sky color to add sky.  Enjoy!
