Craft Thursday

Hello!  I took a class last night and created the cute mason jar holder.  With the leftover floral stems I made the wreath for my front door.  I had so much fun!!

Pop of Paradise Hello Card

Hello!  Here is the second card in the series for my Pop of Paradise class this Friday.  Once again my inspiration is from the Pink Buckaroo website.  I used the Pop of Paradise set exclusively for my card and added/changed a few elements based upon supplies.  Enjoy!

Cards from my "scraps"

I am having fun putting together past class kits and assembling cards with the "scraps".  I throw extra punched shapes, bits of ribbon, embossed card fronts, etc. into a drawer and then put cards together with the "scraps" when the drawer gets full.  LOL!  I also stash cards from friends so that I can re-use the card fronts onto new cards.

Just a Note Card

Hello!  School has now started for us so things have been a bit busy.  This cute card was sent to me by a demo in my new demo monthly swap.  I am hoping to get some stamping done today and Friday.  I am hoping to carve out one hour a day to work on the drawer of scraps that I have accumulated throughout the year.  When I have extra stamped images, die cuts or punched shapes I throw them in a few drawers to make cards later.  It is now time to work on emptying those drawers!  LOL!  I also throw in cute cards that folks send to me when the cards have writing in them.  I can remount the fronts onto new card bases so that all of that hard work is not thrown away.  (-:

Holiday catalogs are here!

I am so excited that these came via UPS today!  The holiday catalog won't start until the beginning of next month but now I have some to give away.

I have not been good about posting this week and I apologize.  Monday I was not feeling well (did too much on Sunday because long services) and today I have been sewing up a storm.  Friday I am hoping to stamp a bit so that I have cards to post.

Happy stamping!

Saturday Video Forever Evergreen from Holiday Catalog

Are you excited about the new Holiday Catalog?  Here is a video to inspire you and give you a sneak peak of what is in the new catalog.  I have copies ordered and on their way plus some folks who don't live around here will be getting their copy in the mailbox by the end of the month.

Had a fabulous morning after I went to the YMCA to exercise;  I played in my flower beds and planted a few new ones.  I just love mums and found some pretty ones at Lowes this week.  I had some hostas that needed moved because they were in the full sun so I gave them to family/friends and then had fun filling the holes.

Have a great weekend and happy stamping!

Cards for the United Way

A friend from church had a co-worker involved in an auction for the United Way and so I was asked to participate.  I put together a gift basket of cards to sell at auction.  It was kind of fun looking through the cards and checking out projects from the past!  I tend to make multiples of cards instead of one unique card.

Rag Quilt Purse made from SU goodies

This is a cute bag and I borrowed the idea from the videos posted below by another demo.  I added bamboo handles because I have had them almost as long as I have had the blocks prepped and ready for sewing!  LOL!  I did make a cute pink bag for my daughter years ago and then I got sidetracked.  I will have to think of other "needs" for all of the blocks; maybe the girl cousins all need purses?

Enjoy and happy stamping!
