You Move Me Fancy Fold Card for Club


Hello!  I woke up at 6 am and booted my son out of the bonus room where he was doing school.  Yes, I am a terrible mom!  LOL!  I should be rejoicing that my son is so motivated but club is tomorrow and I need to keep my momentum!

Birthday Card
Stamps:  You Move Me bundle, Butterfly Basics
Colors:  Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Black, and Whisper White
Supplies:  Glitter, Embossing Paste, Paste tools, Decorative Masks, Dimenionsionals, Rhinestones, Circle Framelits, Big Shot
⦁    Score the Lemon LIme 5 1/2 x 10 1/2 at 2 3/4 and 7". 
⦁    On the 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 Lemon CS use the embossing paste and mask.  Once finished sprinkle with glitter and tap off.
⦁    Cut two solid Lime butterflies and two detailed black butterflies (see directions above).
⦁    Stamp the sentiment in black ink on the white scrap and then cut out with smallest circle.  Cut out the other circles (glitter is the largest).
⦁    Assemble card parts.

You Move Me Club project

This card pic is not that great and I will try to update it later.  I love the You Move Me bundle because it creates a 3D project with animation.  As you pull the tab the butterfly looks like it is flying!  Very cool!

I am working on all of my club projects as well as quizzing kids for homeschool.  AND...we are heading to town at some point to go get pics at the park for Christmas cards.  Busy, busy, busy!

 You Move Me Butterfly Card
Colors:  Fresh Fig, Sahara Sand, Whisper White
Stamps:  You Move Me Bundle
Supplies:  Fresh Fig ribbon, Stapler, pearls, Big Shot, sponge, 1" circle punch, dimensionals
⦁    Stamp the butterfly (bold stamp off and detail) in Fresh Fig and cut out with dies. Stamp the "Hi" in Sahara Sand ink and punch out with circle punch.  Cut out the Fresh Fig detailed butterfly and snip in half.
⦁    Stamp the big butterfly in Fig ink on the white strip and then stamp the smaller one (stamp off first) over top of the big one.  Match up the head and tail; stamp so that you can't see the previously stamped lines.
⦁    Use the magnetic cutting pad, precision plate and one cutting pad to cut out the window.  CUT WITH SHARP EDGES FACING UP ONTO PAPER AND CUTTING PAD.
⦁    Assemble Card

Night in Bethlehem Trifold Card for Club

I LOVE how this card turned out for club!!!  I CASED it from Patty Bennett and made a few modifications to fit my supplies. She had fabulous directions here.

Night in Bethlehem Card
Stamps:  Night in Bethlehem bundle
Colors:  Very Vanilla, Pacific Point, and Soft Suede
Supplies:  Scor Tool, Big Shot, Bethlehem edgelits, Gold embossing powder, heat tool, Embossing buddy, Rhinestones, paper piercing tool, dimensionals, snail, Softly Falling embossing folder, Versamark pad
Directions:
·         Vanilla CS Cut at 4 ¼ x 11 and scored at 5 ½ and 2 ¾”
·         Vanilla CS cut and embossed with Softly Falling 3 ¾ x 2 ¼” and 3 ¾ x 5”
·         Pacific Point CS cut at 3 ½ x 8 ¼” and scored at 4 ¼” and 2”
·         Pacific Point CS cut at 4 x 2 ½” and 4 x 5 ¼”
·         After using the embossing buddy, on the longest Pacific Point strip stamp the greeting in the sky of the largest panel and the big star in the sky of the opposite end.  Use Versamark ink and gold embossing powder.
·         Layer the embossed Vanilla CS on the corresponding Pacific CS and adhere to card. 
·         Fold the longest Pacific CS and adhere to center of card.
·         Cut out the Bethlehem village in Soft Suede with the Edgelits.  Mount the “fattest” scene to the front of the card.  Fold the second scene to fit the other panels.
·         Attach rhinestones in the sky.

Hearts Come Home Club project

Hello!  I have been busy with Stamp Camp and prepping Christmas cards.  Sponging just looks fabulous with this stamp set!  I CASED this card from Michelle Zindorg.




Stamps:  Hearts Come Home
Colors:  Marina Mist, Whisper White, Basic Black, Dapper Denim
Supplies:  Gold ribbon, sponges, post it note,  adhesive, blocks, 1” circle punch, Year of Cheer Specialty paper, white gel pen
Directions:
·         Punch out a circle in a post it note. Adhere to the white card front.
·         Sponge Marina Mist all over the top ¾ top of the CS.  Highlight by sponging in Dapper Denim.  Remove circle.
·         With black ink stamp the Santa and the houses.
·         Adhere the DSP to the Marina Mist CS and wrap around the ribbon. Adhere to card front.
·         Adhere the stamped card front to the Dapper Denim and adhere to the card base with dimensionals.
      Add white dots behind the sleigh with a white gel pen.

Starry Night Card
Stamps:  Night in Bethlehem Bundle
Colors:  Island Indigo, Basic Black, Whisper White
Supplies:  Big Shot, Bethlehem Edgelit dies, 2” circle punch, dimensionals, Snail
Instructions: 
·         Stamp the stars across the top of the black CS in white ink.
·         Stamp the sentiment in black ink on the Island Indigo CS and then punch.
·         Cut out the village in Whisper White with the Edgelit dies.
·         Adhere the moon and then the background village with Snail.
·         Adhere the front scene of the village with dimensionals.

Night in Bethlehem Club Project #1

Rejoicing Card
Stamps:  Night in Bethlehem Bundle
Colors:  Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Soft Suede, Night of Navy, Whisper White
Supplies:  Versamark pad, silver embossing powder, heat tool, cutting tool, embossing buddy, sponge rollers, ruler, pencil
Instructions: 
·         On the white 4 ¼ x 5 ½” CS mark with a pencil at 1” and 3” from the top.  Mark 1” in from both sides.  Use a paper trimmer to cut out the window.
·         Lay the window over the card front and roll the sponge in Pool Party over the entire space.  Next roll Bermuda Bay on the top down to middle of window.
·         Remove the window frame.  Ink up the village in Soft Suede and stamp off on scratch paper before stamping on sponged area.  (Line bottom of village up with the bottom of sponged area.)
·         Rub the embossing buddy over card area where you intend to stamp the large star.  With Versamark stamp the star and emboss with silver powder.
·         With Navy ink stamp the donkey stamp, sentiment and small stars.
