Gingerbread 3x3 card

This is the final 3x3 from my swap.  It is clean and simple.  The Gingerbread dude is embossed with the fun scented powder from the Holiday catalog.  Unfortunately it looks much nicer in person than in photos.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!  Have a wonderful Christmas and don't forget the reason for the season...Jesus!  He loves you and wants to be your Savior.  How wonderful that, on HIS birthday, we can gather with family and friends to exchange gifts.  What do you plan to give to HIM today?

Merry Christmas!

Joy 3x3 Card

This is a lovely 3x3 Christmas card.  There are lots of punches in this project and the inside was nicely done; I totally spaced on taking a picture of the inside.

It is really snowy and windy here this morning.  The electricity has already blinked off once so I am bracing myself for a power outage due to the high winds.  The weather looks nasty for the day.  Hope you all stay warm!

Candy Cane 3x3 card

Brenda Bierens made this cute 3x3 card.  I love it!  Behind the candy cane opening she layered ribbons in alternating colors to mimic a candy cane.  Thank you, Brenda!

Mitten 3x3 card

This is a fabulous 3x3 card and one of my favorites!  The scrapbook paper, mitten punch and the mitten yarn look great together!  Wish I had a name...

Today I got all 50 of my Christmas cards in the mail AND I sent packages to my three grandmothers (cards...shhh...).  I also bought a roll of 100 forever stamps because the gal at the PO told me that postage was set to go up in a few weeks.  Hopefully the roll will keep me for a bit.  LOL!  Wednesday is our last day of school for the year and I am so excited!!!

Tri-fold 3x3 Christmas card

It is so overcast today (and has been) that my pictures are not that bright.  I wish that I could give credit to someone but this person in the swap did not include a recipe.

Here is my updated version of the Love card.  I am MUCH happier with this version and it took me less time to assemble all of the components than if I had used the Beautiful Wings embossslit for each card.  LOL!  The new butterfly punch in the next catalog will be perfect for this card.  I might break it out early; it is on its way to my house!!!  Hooray!

Happy stamping!

Club Project - You are Loved Feminine Card

Please forgive the multiple pinks in this card.  I just couldn't decide which color to use!  LOL!  I think that I will stick with Raspberry Ripple and Primrose Petals so that I can use the matching ribbon (it is already in my craft closet).  This is just the prototype.  I plan to either add olive in the card somewhere else or change the "Love" to a shade of pink.  I ran into the issue that the card base had to be cut out of 12x12 so I might even have to switch to Pretty in Pink or Whisper White because that is what is in my stash.

I will post an updated version of the card on Sunday or Monday.  I just finished working on 300 mailings for our church's Ladies Conference so time has been a bit of an issue.  (-:  I do have the other projects prepped and ready to go for Monday's club.  I did save this one for last and I still have to work on the larger card version for my 3x3.  I wanted to save some fun for today while the kids were at their grandparents farm.

Stamps:
You are Loved

Colors used:
Regal Rose (switching to Raspberry Ripple?)
Whisper White
Pretty in Pink (switching to Primrose Petals?)
Old Olive (not sure if I am keeping it?)

Punches:
Full Heart
Decorative Label
Oval punch

Supplies:
Big Shot
Beautiful Wings folder
Vintage Wallpaper folder
Large Scallop circle die
Medium Scallop Circle die (two on the die)
3" circle die (wish I had the bigger one)

Old Olive
Whisper White
Pool Party
Cherry Cobbler marker

Supplies:
Stapler and staples
Decorative Label punch
Oval punch
Old Olive dotted ribbon

Snowman punch art

Imagine my shock when I realized that Saturday was my brother's birthday (gasp) which meant that I forgot to put my swaps in the mail to Cheryl!!!  She graciously informed me that I could flat rate them to her and, as long as I had them to her mid-week, I could sneak into the swap.  Hooray!  Here is my cute snowman.  What a weekend though!  Bama barely won the SEC Championship and my hubby is sick.

Pardon the funky angle...I had a difficult time getting just the right light to show the details.
