Retro Week Continues-Exotic Blooms Card Two

This is my wink at the postage stamp method.  I colored the "stamps" with markers and then stamped them.  Check back tomorrow for a card with stamped border!

Happy stamping!

Retro Week-Exotic Blooms Birthday Card

Good morning!  I am fighting allergies so I was not up to stamping at 6 am Monday and Tuesday.  LOL!  My friend gave me this stamp set to play with as a challenge for my Retro Week.  It was a stretch for me because this set would not typically inspire me and it was old enough that there were not many cards posted online using it.  Tomorrow I plan to post a card using the postage stamp method if I can find all of the goodies I need.

Here is a pic of the stamp set.

Hello all!  This is my demo card for club.  I had so much fun playing with the embossing paste!!!  I set out to use the Lemon Lime Twist but realized that my refill was on the UPS truck somewhere.  LOL!  I opted to go for Pear Pizazz instead and then paired it with the Dapper Denim.

Check back on Saturday for a Weekend video!

Happy stamping!

Well, this has certainly been an interesting week.  My children are both enrolled in an accredited video system but one of them works in the bonus room...where my stamp supplies are located!  AUGHH!  I didn't think it would be a problem to stamp but now I am getting up at 6 am to work on cards before school starts.  I can't even believe that my creative juices are awake let alone flowing!  LOL!

Here is my inspiration card.

Carols of Christmas Early Release-Weekend Video

I am back!  I have been prepping my supplies for school and also working on lots of sewing projects for family so my stamping was put on the back burner.

I have my Holiday catalogs prepped and ready for distribution; they go live at the beginning of September!  I splurged and pre-ordered the Painted Harvest stamp set/bundle.  I also just got my backordered embossing paste so I am so ready to stamp a bunch now.  This morning was spent organizing my stamping area which was taken over by SU boxes of catalogs and extra school supplies.  I have a clean desk now and a bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper (and Sweetarts) so I am ready for Monday!  Hooray!

Enjoy the video!
