Best Wishes Card for May monthly swap and a friend

Hello All!  Here is the wedding card that I made for my downline, Brie, who got married last Saturday.  I can't remember who I CASED to find the wedding ring idea but I LOVE it!  The rhinestones really make it look feminine.  I love the new Mosaic embossing folder for this card.

Happy stamping!
Stef

My monthly swap Frog Punch Art

Don't you love this darling froggie?  This card was for my monthly swap to Cathy Bell.

Stamps: Petite Pairs

Colors: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Early Expresso, Bashful Blue, Whisper White

Punches: Wide Oval, Oval, 1" circle, punch pack-flower and circle

Goodies: Dimensionals, sponges, mini brads, Old Olive ribbon, scissors

I snipped a triangle out of the wide oval punch and sponged it for the lily pad; I adhered the flower on it and then punched the hole for the mini brad.  The little frog feet are the flowers as well but punched in Early Expresso.

Happy stamping!

A Sympathy Card

I had to send another sympathy card.  One of my aunts recently lost a special friend.  Birthday cards and thank you cards are a lot more fun to create, write, and send.  (Though I am sure that you already knew that...)

The center layout on this card was heavily inspired by a card that Judy May, an Australian demonstrator,  made earlier this month.

This picture is a little washed out, and I apologize.  I was trying to get it out in the mail right away and we have had a lot of overcast weather.

This is my other "project" lately...

Her name is Lilly and she is four.  She needed a new home.  Dorothy (cat numero uno) hasn't decided that she likes Lilly yet.  It has been interesting.  My husband and I have been getting immune to her....which has been an adventure since she likes to sleep with us, or should I say on top of us.

Hope you are having a good day,
Julie
