Thank you to Kate Imus for this cool swap!
Tomorrow I will post the first of my Stamp Camp projects so check back on Wednesday morning. Things are slow going but at least I know why I am dragging my heels. Doc office called today and I am fighting strep AND mono. Phew! Once I get on meds for the mono I should start to feel more like stamping again.
Happy stamping!

Updated You are Love Card
Here is my updated version of the Love card. I am MUCH happier with this version and it took me less time to assemble all of the components than if I had used the Beautiful Wings embossslit for each card. LOL! The new butterfly punch in the next catalog will be perfect for this card. I might break it out early; it is on its way to my house!!! Hooray!
Happy stamping!

Happy Mother's Day
Today is our Mother-Daughter Tea (during Sunday School) and I made these little purses to put on my table. I volunteered to decorate a table and provide the china, etc. I had so much fun making the beaded napkin holders and ordering a few extra replacement pieces for my china! I will post pictures of my table later this week.
I am sorry for the delay in posting this week. Doc gave me some meds that made me SO groggy that I hardly did a thing this weekend. The purses were made this morning before everyone woke up and the beaded napkin holders were last weekend. I finally just refused to take the meds last night so I would be alert today. Definitely time to call doc on Monday! LOL!
This cute littel basket is our club project for the month. It is cleverly made by strips of DSP or cardstock. Now that the creative juices are flowing I will spruce it up a bit and repost it soon. I think that a few more retiring accessories would be great to add wow to the basket. A friend did a demo on these baskets at Suzanne's big upline meeting. I loved it!! Wouldn't this be a cute Easter basket or May Day basket?
Happy stamping!

My Mom's Birthday Card
As promised...a card for a more cheerful occasion. My mom is an April Fool's Day baby. This is the card that I made for her. It uses Calypso Coral, Whisper White, a smidge of So Saffron, and Lucky Limeade. A couple of times I have seen the stem from the set Sweetheart used with the new Blossom Punch. (Boho Blossom punch and Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch also used on the bloom) And who doesn't love a printed brad? The 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon can be adhered with 1/4" Sticky Strip (or the like) to stay firmly in place without gluing down the pretty edges. I did use a couple of layers of dimensionals, but since this is being hand-delivered, it isn't a problem.
Hope you are having a nice Saturday.

A Sympathy Card
I had to send another sympathy card. One of my aunts recently lost a special friend. Birthday cards and thank you cards are a lot more fun to create, write, and send. (Though I am sure that you already knew that...)
The center layout on this card was heavily inspired by a card that Judy May, an Australian demonstrator, made earlier this month.

This picture is a little washed out, and I apologize. I was trying to get it out in the mail right away and we have had a lot of overcast weather.
This is my other "project" lately...
Her name is Lilly and she is four. She needed a new home. Dorothy (cat numero uno) hasn't decided that she likes Lilly yet. It has been interesting. My husband and I have been getting immune to her....which has been an adventure since she likes to sleep with us, or should I say on top of us.
Hope you are having a good day,
Julie
