Hearts Come Home Club project

Hello!  I have been busy with Stamp Camp and prepping Christmas cards.  Sponging just looks fabulous with this stamp set!  I CASED this card from Michelle Zindorg.

Stamps:  Hearts Come Home
Colors:  Marina Mist, Whisper White, Basic Black, Dapper Denim
Supplies:  Gold ribbon, sponges, post it note,  adhesive, blocks, 1” circle punch, Year of Cheer Specialty paper, white gel pen
Directions:
·         Punch out a circle in a post it note. Adhere to the white card front.
·         Sponge Marina Mist all over the top ¾ top of the CS.  Highlight by sponging in Dapper Denim.  Remove circle.
·         With black ink stamp the Santa and the houses.
·         Adhere the DSP to the Marina Mist CS and wrap around the ribbon. Adhere to card front.
·         Adhere the stamped card front to the Dapper Denim and adhere to the card base with dimensionals.
Add white dots behind the sleigh with a white gel pen.

Merry and Bright Stamp Camp Card #4

My daughter was fascinated with my snow globe shaker card.  I do plan to purchase the foam adhesive strips because I had to make due with the edges of a sheet of dimensionals and I was not satisfied with the height.  This card background involved sponging and use of the whisper white craft pad with daubers.  Fun!

Hearts Come Home Stamp Camp Card #3

Here is my third card and it is a simple one just featuring the stamp set.  I didn't want all of the cards to be labor intensive and I definitely wanted one card to feature the matching stamps.  LOL!  I love the Softly Falling embossing folder but would have shifted the folder down a bit so that the snow was not falling so thick at the top of the card.  Next time...

Stamp Camp Card #2 Hearts Come Home

I got up early to create this card before popping off to town for PT.  It is simple but fun.  I hope that it inspires you to create and also attend my stamp camp!  Be sure to check out my Pinterest board and you will see where I found my inspiration for this card.

Stamp Camp Project #1

I discovered that it is so much easier to adhere the gold paper to the backs of the windows BEFORE adhering the village to the card front!  LOL!

Stamp camp will be Saturday, November 11 and will cost $55.  Registration is due by October 31 and will include lunch, the Hearts Come Home bundle, instructions, and supplies for four cards.  Love this set!  Click here to see the bundle.

Update:  I plan to redo this card and have longer white pieces below my village scenes.  Overnight the card warped from the drying embossing paste.  I just think that it would look nicer with "deeper" village scenes in white.  I used shimmery white CS but will probably switch to Whisper White.

Happy stamping!
