Come Gather card

Hello!  This week I have had time to stamp and to update my blog.  I usually find one week to stamp and then I get caught up in teaching school.  LOL!

I love the colors on this double pocket card...Mint Macaron, Cajun Craze, and Early Espresso were my colors of choice.  You can also use Pretty Peacock, Merry Merlot, and Pear Pizzas based on the colors in the DSP.

Flowering Desert

Check out my pinterest board for more fun ideas.  The inspiration card is there on my board for the Flowering Desert stamp set.  I fell in love with this stamp set when I started to see the gorgeous samples online.  This particular card has fabulous colors (Grapefruit, Crumb Cake, Calypso Coral, Vanilla and Espresso Brown).  The sponging really adds to the wow factor.  Add a touch of a rougher style ribbon and it is the recipe for success!

Colors: Grapefruit Grove, Very Vanilla, Lovely Lipstick, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso

Stamps:  Flowering Desert

Supplies:  sponges, blocks or Stamparatus,

Happy stamping!

Sheltering Tree Reflection Card

Click here to see my YouTube inspiration card

THINKING OF YOU CARD
Stamps:
  Sheltering Tree set
Colors:  Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso, Old Olive, and Whisper White
Supplies:  Sponges, paper snips, window sheet, dimensionals, and snail adhesive
Directions:
·       Lay a strip of cardstock down about ¾ of the way on the card; this is your mask.
·       Sponge in green above the mask for the grass.  Remove the mask and sponge in Espresso (above and below the water line).  Sponge Pool Party darker in the sky and softer in the water.
·       Stamp the tree in Espresso and then again on the window sheet.  Press the window sheet down onto the water; this will transfer most of the ink.  Use a baby wipe to clean the window sheet.
·       Stamp the leaves in Pumpkin ink…twice.  Stamp the Pumpkin ink onto the window sheet.  Press the window sheet ink side down onto the card base.  Clean the window sheet.
·       Stamp the sentiment onto the white strip.  Snip ends to make a banner.  Adhere with dimensionals.
·       Adhere the layers.

Painted Harvest Club Card #1

I am still tweaking this card but here is the card for club this month.  Enjoy!  I may come back later and retake the pic because I am not happy with everything,  More layers?
Update:  I did add another layer to the front and then trimmed the sentiment a bit.  Much happier!

Happy stamping!
Stef

Retro Week - Exotic Blooms Card Three

This is the last card in my retro week.  I am working on Christmas cards next so check back next week!

I have been trying to get my posts to post automatically and having issues so I apologize that this one did not post yesterday.  Later today I will post my weekend video.  School is still in the transition phase and, at one point yesterday, my daughter had to watch her accredited class videos on my laptop.  I will be so very excited when we get everything ironed out.  Thankfully I don't have to get up early to stamp now.  Hooray!  Stamping at 6 am in the morning was not as fun as it is normally.  LOL!

Happy stamping!

This is my wink at the postage stamp method.  I colored the "stamps" with markers and then stamped them.  Check back tomorrow for a card with stamped border!

Well, this has certainly been an interesting week.  My children are both enrolled in an accredited video system but one of them works in the bonus room...where my stamp supplies are located!  AUGHH!  I didn't think it would be a problem to stamp but now I am getting up at 6 am to work on cards before school starts.  I can't even believe that my creative juices are awake let alone flowing!  LOL!

Here is my inspiration card.
