My Mom's Birthday Card
As promised...a card for a more cheerful occasion. My mom is an April Fool's Day baby. This is the card that I made for her. It uses Calypso Coral, Whisper White, a smidge of So Saffron, and Lucky Limeade. A couple of times I have seen the stem from the set Sweetheart used with the new Blossom Punch. (Boho Blossom punch and Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch also used on the bloom) And who doesn't love a printed brad? The 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon can be adhered with 1/4" Sticky Strip (or the like) to stay firmly in place without gluing down the pretty edges. I did use a couple of layers of dimensionals, but since this is being hand-delivered, it isn't a problem.
Hope you are having a nice Saturday.

Nursing Home Projects
Good morning! Thursday was my nursing home class at the Golden Living Center. Here are the simple projects that I came up with for the folks there to complete. I pre-punch as many things as possible and keep the projects simple. Some folks come but have us stamp because their hands simply can't hold the stamps. Others are very mobile and enjoy the experience. I have to admit...my kids have definite favorites there! My best and most reliable helpers are my children and I am so proud of them! My 11 year old son and my 8 year old daughter each take a table to teach a mini class to the residents. My son has fun stamping with them and giving his projects to Sandy, the activities coordinator, for residents who were not able to attend. Yes...I am bragging! (-:
Have a wonderful day and happy stamping!

Mother's Day Card
Hello and happy stamping! This card is for the upline meeting at the end of the month and will be my make and take project. I am also using it for my monthly mailed swap (to kill two birds with one stone). I did switch out the brads in the smaller flowers for the mini brads and loved the effect. Also, the prongs on the mini brads are easier to bend so it was easier on my fingers to make all of those swaps!
I cased this card layout from Dawn O but changed quite a few aspects to make it uniquely mine. Enjoy!

3x3 Blossom Punch Card
I wanted to let everyone know that I will be hosting a Stamp Camp on Saturday, April 28th. If you are interested in more details please send me an email. It will be held in Jefferson City, MO at the Missouri Blvd McCalister's Deli from 2:15 pm to 6:00 pm.
I am having so much fun with the Brights buttons (a Sale-a-bration freebie) and decided to add them to these 3x3 cards. These little cuties will be given to everyone who purchases $50 or more from me at club or workshop. I will include them in the order bags. I am also involved in several 3x3 swaps this month and this card will be one of my swaps.
I punched out two white blossoms and snipped the top flower to layer on top of the bottom flower. It gives a depth to the flower and makes it seem less...flat. (-; In retrospect, a bit of yellow sponging along the edges of the top flower might be nice also...
Supplies:
Attic Boutique Designer Series paper
Whisper White Cardstock
Blossom Punch
Brights buttons
Lucky Limeade bakers twine
Mini glue dots
Snail Adhesive
Happy stamping!!!
