Club Project...Petite Purses

Hello!  This has been a busy week!  Our church is hosting a Ladies Conference and I have been in the thick of things.  I created 102 of these darling little things and then promptly turned around to cut out 40 more for the club projects this month.  LOL!  I am STILL not "pursed out" so we will be playing with them at club this month.  I also put together 200 birthday cards for one of the speaker's birthday surprise from our church.  Every lady will be encouraged to fill out a card for the basket given to Mrs. W.  I also designed the schedule of events and sent it off to the printer.  I think that there were other things but my brain is sufficiently fried now.  (-:

If you don't see any posts over the weekend, don't worry.  I am not in a chocolate coma after all of my stamping; my mother is coming down from Iowa to spend the weekend with me and my stamping time will be limited.  I am super excited to see her again!!!  Maybe I can sweet talk Julie into more of her amazing posts...

The purse in the background was designed by my friend Stephanie.  She put yummy little chocolates inside the purse...they are gone.  Tee hee!

My Mom's Birthday Card

As promised...a card for a more cheerful occasion.  My mom is an April Fool's Day baby.  This is the card that I made for her.  It uses Calypso Coral, Whisper White, a smidge of So Saffron, and Lucky Limeade.  A couple of times I have seen the stem from the set Sweetheart used with the new Blossom Punch.  (Boho Blossom punch and Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch also used on the bloom)  And who doesn't love a printed brad?  The 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon can be adhered with 1/4" Sticky Strip (or the like) to stay firmly in place without gluing down the pretty edges. I did use a couple of layers of dimensionals, but since this is being hand-delivered, it isn't a problem.

Hope you are having a nice Saturday.

Mother's Day Card

Hello and happy stamping!  This card is for the upline meeting at the end of the month and will be my make and take project.  I am also using it for my monthly mailed swap (to kill two birds with one stone).  I did switch out the brads in the smaller flowers for the mini brads and loved the effect.  Also, the prongs on the mini brads are easier to bend so it was easier on my fingers to make all of those swaps!

I cased this card layout from Dawn O but changed quite a few aspects to make it uniquely mine.  Enjoy!
