Baby Card

Thank you to Kate Imus for this cool swap!

Tomorrow I will post the first of my Stamp Camp projects so check back on Wednesday morning.  Things are slow going but at least I know why I am dragging my heels.  Doc office called today and I am fighting strep AND mono.  Phew!  Once I get on meds for the mono I should start to feel more like stamping again.

Happy stamping!

3x3 Thank you cards for this month

Good morning!  The black and white 3x3 card came in a swap; I wanted to use up some of my retiring colors so I changed things around a bit.  Instead of using Basic Black I used Concord Crush (had to use my Concord Crush ribbon) and I swapped the rhinestone for the larger pearl.  I prefer to have a white card base because it is easier to write on white.

The Triple Treat flower retires soon...

These little cuties will be in everyone's bag when they purchase $50 this month.

Thank you and happy stamping!!!

Club Project...Petite Purses

Hello!  This has been a busy week!  Our church is hosting a Ladies Conference and I have been in the thick of things.  I created 102 of these darling little things and then promptly turned around to cut out 40 more for the club projects this month.  LOL!  I am STILL not "pursed out" so we will be playing with them at club this month.  I also put together 200 birthday cards for one of the speaker's birthday surprise from our church.  Every lady will be encouraged to fill out a card for the basket given to Mrs. W.  I also designed the schedule of events and sent it off to the printer.  I think that there were other things but my brain is sufficiently fried now.  (-:

If you don't see any posts over the weekend, don't worry.  I am not in a chocolate coma after all of my stamping; my mother is coming down from Iowa to spend the weekend with me and my stamping time will be limited.  I am super excited to see her again!!!  Maybe I can sweet talk Julie into more of her amazing posts...

The purse in the background was designed by my friend Stephanie.  She put yummy little chocolates inside the purse...they are gone.  Tee hee!

Hello!  I finally have my Downline Meeting projects completed so I had fun this morning (between tests, quizzes, and such) with my new Bright Blossoms stamp set.  This card features many of the new Summer Smooches line that will be available in the month of April.  I L-O-V-E this line of goodies!

This card is the Center Step Card for Stamp Camp.  Registration is $25 and will include four projects and instructions.  You will also get your own Bright Blossoms stamp set!

Keep checking back for more projects!

Peeps Easter Card

Yes, this is a shameless case of casing...lol!  I saw this card on Tami White's page and fell in love with it.  I did tweak it just a wee bit to make it mine.  I have 13 swaps to make for the downline meeting on Saturday and thought that the "wow factor" was high enough to warrant using this card for swapping.

I am thrilled that the weather is warm and the trees are starting to green up so that I can take my card pics outside on the deck again.  I love the sunshine!  We have been riding our bikes every day for PE.

Scallop Oval Punch Flowers Part 2

As promised, I made a card with one of the flowers from the scallop oval punch pictorial that I posted on Tuesday.  I had some friends over to make these cards a couple of weeks ago.  They are slightly smaller at about 3 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches.  I used the larger scallop circle on the scallop circles die #2.  I plan on using it as sort of a tag on a package though it does open like a card.  You can't see that I punched a hole (behind the petal and thru the card base) with my Crop-A-Dile so that I can just hook it to the package with a big pouf of curling ribbon.

Items used:
Stamps:  Fabulous Phrases
Paper:  Basic Black, Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz
Ink:  Basic Black, Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz
Other: Scallop Oval Punch, Word Window Punch, Large Oval Punch (for the leaves), Lots of Tags Sizzlets, Scallop Circles #2 die, 3" Circle Die, Perfect Polka Dots TIEF, In Color Glimmer brads, glue dots, Snail adhesive, sponge daubers, paper piercing tool

Happy Stamping...Julie

Simple Perfect Punches Card

Whenever I lose my mojo/creative ability, I find myself going back to this little card format.  It is a springboard for me.

Simple, right?  But it makes me say, "Oh yeah, I remember how to do this!"

If you would like to create this, you will need the following:

Sets:  Perfect Punches
Paper: 4 1/4 x 11" Blushing Bride, scored at 5 1/2" (also shown in Peach Parfait); scrap of Whisper White;  scrap of Pear Pizzazz (for the little tiny leaf by the flower)
Ink:  Pear Pizzazz
Punches:  Curly Label, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack
Other:  Perfect Polka Dots TIEF, Basic Pearl Jewels, Snail adhesive and 2 Way Glue pen

Do you have a layout that you go back to in order to jumpstart your creativity?

Let us know, we would like encouraging comments...
Julie
